About Charango Warrior

A reference built the way charanguistas actually learn — from the stroke outward — for the five-course Andean charango.

The stroke first, always

Most instrument references stop at the grip. On a charango that is barely the beginning: the fretted shape tells you which notes are available, and the rasgueo decides which direction the hand moves, which eighths stay silent across every course at once, and where the push falls. Charango Warrior draws every page from that. Chords are charted course by course with the fret and finger named, as the shape a rasgueo rakes; scales are note maps with every root marked, ready to be phrased as strummed lines; and the three cells — huayño, k'antu, carnavalito — are computed from the pattern data and the registry's real tuning, never typed by hand.

Every voicing, note map, and drill on the site plays back in the browser, so your ear learns alongside your fingers. The tuner and metronome are free, run entirely on your device, and need no account.

Charango Warrior is made by Cyberpunk Industries LLC as part of the Warrior Network. When you want to compare an instrument beyond this one, String Warrior covers every chord and scale on 20+ string instruments — the two sites share their underlying music data, and each writes its own pages for its own players.
